The 11U East Texas Dirt Daubers (www.dirtdaubers.com) are looking to fill one roster spot for the upcoming fall season. An established, successful team, the Daubers compiled a 43-10-2 overall record this spring, won the 10U-Open DETBA division title, the DETBA WS, won 4 tournaments and participated in the Super Series WS in Grapevine. We will be holding a tryout SATURDAY MORNING 7/31 in Longview. Please contact Coach Best for details at 903-445-3617 or oobjvb@sbcglobal.net. We are seeking high level players who want to play a lot of baseball, and who have supportive families.  We are targeting someone who has experience as a pitcher and would prefer a player who hits with power, though any type of strong hitter will work.  The potential candidate will need to be able to play multiple positions as well.  The ideal candidate would be a left-handed pitcher/outfielder, but we will consider anyone who wants to try out.

The Tatum Miners, a new team forming to play 9U with DETBA this fall, will be holding open tryouts in Tatum on June 26 rom 10a-1p. For more information and to schedule a tryout with the team, call manager Rusty Harvey at 903-736-8959.

10u Marshall Colt .45s will be having a tryout June 27 from 1:00 till 4:00 PM for the upcoming fall season. Need two players to add to an already established team. Must have a hard work ethic and a postive attitude. Left handed pitching a plus but not neccesary. For more info call Dan Hicks at 903-736-1218. The 9U Hughes Springs Red Storm will be holding a tryout on July 1st at 6:00 p.m. on the 9-10 year old field at Hughes Springs Baseball Park for the fall DETBA season.  Four players are needed to fill out our roster of seasoned players.  All 8-9 year olds are encouraged to try out.  A strong work ethic, positive attitude and a love of baseball are a must.  Contact Tom @ 903-767-5635 for more information.

The U11 Texas Freedom is an established team with players from Sulphur Springs, Como, Pickton, and Winnsboro. We will play our fall season home games in Sulphur Springs and we are interested in trying out players for a few potential positions. Please email bultc@wepack.com or call 903-348-3309.

13U team in Lindale is forming and looking to add a couple more players. I am a strong Christian coach that will be doing devotionals with the kids before the practices and/or games. I have coached many years, including a few in DETBA (most recently the Lindale Red Raiders 12U last fall). Due to tight time schedules and a few kids playing football, we will likely not be having practices once the season starts.
