Umpires : Home team is responsible for arranging two (2) umpires for each game. Each team shall pay one umpire prior to each game. If you are in the Longview area and want umpires scheduled for your games contact Steve Hart (903-720-4704). We highly recommend that you use umpires with experience officiating High School Baseball . Recommended umpire fees for DETBA High School League. 5 inning game with 1:45 time limit: $55.00 per official 7 inning game with 2:00 time limit: $65.00 per official. 9 inning game with 2:45 time limit: $90.00 per official.

DETBA will once again offer both JV and Varsity-level schedules for summer play. The season will begin May 30 and continue through about the end of June. There will be no post season tournament for the abbreviated summer schedule, and the registration fee will be $75 to cover insurance. The following forms are required to sign up for the league:
