Attention all DETBA Coaches:
Insurance issues:
All players must have their parents sign the waiver to be covered under the DETBA insurance to practice or play. If a waiver is not signed and a player is injured in a team practice, we cannot approve the claim for the insurance company to cover the cost. The signed waiver must be in our possession and dated with the appropriate signatures to insure that your players are covered.
All teams that will be using the City of Longview Fields for practice must meet these stipulations:
Cannot request fields until March 1st.
Must have paid their team fee and city of Longview field use fees
Must have their player medical waivers signed and submitted for the players involved in the practice
All request must be submitted by no later than Wednesday of the preceeding week of the scheduled practice.
All request must be approved by DETBA President

Upcoming DETBA dates and schedule:
March 27/28- DETBA Spring Kick-off Tournament
(Marshall, TX)
All DETBA teams are encouraged to enter-no tournament fees-teams will split cost of umpires-DETBA will supply the baseballs and trophies.
April 10- Season Begins (14 games/7 consecutive weekends)
May 22- Season Ends (Any makeup games must be completed by this weekend)
May 29/30- DETBA Memorial Day Weekend Tune up Tournament - All DETBA teams are encouraged to enter (Location TBA)
June 5/6- World Series Weekend #1- Marshall TX.
June 12/13- World Series Weekend #2- Marshall TX.

DETBA is looking for volunteers to help the organization. From board members to World Series helpers, we want to invite the great people that make up the DETBA to be a part of helping the organization continue to grow and prosper. Please contact Paul Harris if you would like to help.

ATTENTION COACHES:
There is now a separate T-shirt order form for your team that will need to be downloaded from the website. It will need to be filled out and turned in by April 23, 2010 for your team to receive their World Series T-shirts. Please make sure sizes are accurate as we may not have extra shirts to exchange.
