The Deep East Texas Baseball Association is a non-profit select baseball organization centered in East Texas dedicated
to boys who love to play baseball. We pride ourselves in committing our work completely to these players
to provide the greatest playing environment available in our area.
We invite you to visit ballparks all around East Texas to take in the hundreds of games we have every fall and spring season.
These talented young men always play hard and have a great time — and you'll love seeing first-hand what "boys-first baseball"
is all about.
SPRING 2012 SEASON Last update: 1/28/2012 12:30 AM
We will play 7 weeks of double-header or round robin games on these dates:
March 17 & 31; April 14 & 21; May 5 & 19; and June 2. This is roughly EVERY OTHER WEEKEND for maximum flexibility and freedom.
We have elected not to host a kickoff tournament this year so that teams may organize their own local warm-up tourneys and/or attend the many independent tourneys in the area.
Finally, the World Series Finale will be June 9-10. SIGN UP NOW to get in on the fun of Real East Texas Baseball!

DETBA BASEBALLS:
DETBA game baseballs may be purchased at the season registration meeting or by contacting us at baseball@detba.org. Cost is $40/dozen.
AGE GROUPS: For a player to be eligible for a certain age group for the Fall 2011 season, he must be that age or younger on April 30, 2012. For example, a player may play 12U as long as he is 12 or younger on April 30, 2012. Remember, players can always "play up" to a higher age classification, but may never "play down." Whatever age a player is eligible for during the Fall 2011 season will remain his eligibility for Spring 2012.
